Successful candidates will come from an IT related background, although disciplines such as mathematics, physics, finance, economics, engineering and business management will also be considered, as they demand a similar methodology. A passion for technology and strong interest in the industry is essential. An analytical mind and a problem solving approach are desirable attributes. In addition, you should be aware of, and have a desire to keep up with, developments in the industry and new technologies.
The Career
Our IT opportunities in New York are vast, with many clients across the Tri-State area, including HSBC, UBS, Citigroup, Credit Suisse, Bank of America and many more.
Upon completion of your skills development (approximately 12 weeks) you will be employed by FDM for a minimum of two years, as an IT professional working on our client sites as a Java Developer, Application Support Analyst or Project Analyst/Business Analyst (depending on which training stream you have undertaken).

*Please note eligibility to train in our New York Academy is subject to US residence. However, there may be opportunities for UK-based Consultants to be placed working for our clients in the USA, if desired.
