Candidates will embark on the no-fee academy training programme in the FDM academy in the heart of Mancheser to develop the skills needed to kick-start their career in IT. Upon training completion, candidates are given the option to continue their training and advance into FDM’s prestigious master class program to develop a high value skill set, which esteemed IT companies profoundly look for when recruiting their professional staff.

Upon completion of the academy training programme you will be employed by FDM for a period of two years where you will be paid a competitive salary. FDM endeavor to place you with one of our prestigious blue chip clients where you will work and implement the skills you developed on our graduate training scheme.

After the period of two years you can either stay employed as an FDM employee, make the transition to a full time employee with the company we placed you with, or simply go on your own way to progress in your IT as you wish, the choice is entirely yours.

The Manchester Academy

The Manchester office has a number of highly skilled and hand-on Trainers and a sociable atmosphere. In fact, there are weekly football matches; FDM Trainees vs. FDM Account Managers, as well as many other activities outside of office hours.

In addition, the Manchester office has several test labs, where many consultants now work on client projects in-house. FDM’s clients in the North of England include ASDA, Barclays Retail, Lloyds Pharmacy, HSBC Retail, Premier Farnell, Unilever and many more. However, all candidates must be geographically flexible and happy to work across the UK, and there are also opportunities to work internationally for those who wish to put themselves forward for these roles.
