FDM Academy - Study abroad and build your IT career!

Internship - Study Abroad Program

The Study Abroad Program is an experience of a lifetime. You will be working with an international company that works with 180 clients worldwide and living abroad in either Brighton, London or Manchester, in the UK. You will gain commercial experience and valuable skills to launch your career in IT. An opportunity that is far too good to miss!

FDM’s Study Abroad Program is similar to our Graduate Scheme. Students in their last year of college should gradually commence the on-line course.

The difference between an Internship and Graduate Scheme at FDM is the course-load and funding.

Course Load

All students undertaking the FDM Group internship should ensure that they have less demanding coursework at the college or university they attend. The Unix assessment takes 6 weeks and an average of 80 hours to complete. In order to complete the Unix course within the given 6-week period, 2-5 hours of work will be required a day. Our interns have to be organized and efficient, managing their time appropriately. Don’t start the online course if you can’t complete it on time.

Funding

Candidates who wish to join FDM and are able to travel to the UK (Brighton), students must have a valid passport and be aware of the expenses involved. FDM will pay for the visa, accommodation involved as well as a round-trip flight, when candidates are at the end of their 2nd training module. Any other expenditure incurred by the trainee will have to be self-funded.

If you think you are eligible for the FDM Group Internship, or if you have any question about whether or not you meet our criteria, please contact us.
