As industry experts, FDM is able to provide you with the most commercially relevant IT training; introducing you to technologies and skills that are being utilised today within some of the largest companies in the world. The programme is designed to equip you with specialist expertise, soft skills and business awareness, crucial for the success of your IT career.
Our training streams will help you become a:
- Java Developer
- .Net Developer
- Software Test Analyst
- Infrastructure Support Analyst
- Application Support Analyst
- Project Analyst
Training is full time, in-house and mile stone orientated. You will be in a business environment working closely with other like-minded individuals, and will benefit from the on-going support of FDM’s experienced trainers.
Entry Assessments
In order to embark on the Master Class Programme, you have to pass a two and a half day Technical Assessment, which is completed on-site at one of FDM’s training academies. The technical tutorial will involve a task that can be completed in any of the given technologies: UNIX Shell Scripting, Java, C# or C++. However, we do not expect you to be an expert. This assessment is designed to measure your ability to learn and apply practices and strategies, in order to complete the task in the most effective way. If your strengths lie outside of these technologies, let us know and we may be able to accommodate.
In addition, you will be required to take part in a group activity and deliver a short presentation.
The Right Training Stream
Before applying to FDM Academy, it is best to have an idea of which route you would like to take, as this will determine the programme structure of the next two years. However, upon completion of the Techinical Seminar, we will discuss and recommend the training stream that will best suit your talents and IT career aspirations.
