Employee Engagement
FDM understands that before you can engage employees, you must first create an environment in which people feel motivated, supported and committed to the same vision and goals as the organisation. This must be established throughout the life cycle of an employee from recruitment to induction and onwards. Without a cohesive process that ensures employees’ basic needs are met, effective engagement is unachievable.
Whilst initiatives such as staff satisfaction surveys, employee forums, discussion boards and other platforms for expression help engage our employees at FDM, we realise that engagement is often attained through the smaller everyday factors that can be overlooked. Therefore, we make sure our managers have the capabilities to engage and motivate individuals. We offer a supportive environment where employees can discuss work and personal issues in confidence, as well as conducting regular salary and benefit analysis to remain competitive.
