Health & Safety and Quality Management
Health and safety issues are a key priority in our workplace to ensure we are compliant with legislation and that our control mechanisms are met within the working environment. The well being of our employees is of utmost importance to us so we make sure every individual has the knowledge to contribute towards creating a hazard-free zone. Individuals understand the need to react to situations in order to avoid potential accidents, and to report incidents through the correct channels.
Quality management is crucial to enable robust processes and procedures to produce the desired effects. We monitor the outcomes of how we operate to ensure they meet our high standards of quality. We have been accredited with ISO 9000 status, which is widely recognised as a respectable achievement. To guarantee we keep the necessary standards we have regular external audits, which help us to continually improve.
Diversity, Inclusion and Equal Opportunities
FDM is dedicated to promoting a diverse workforce that reflects our wider society. We have zero tolerance towards discrimination throughout all our business activity whether this relates to race, nationality, religion, disability, gender, age, sexual orientation or any other discrimination where an individual may feel marginalised. Where possible we make reasonable adjustments for individuals to accommodate their needs.
It is important to us that we learn from each other’s experiences and integrate any differences within our company culture, so everyone feels equal and included. We strongly believe that this open and fair approach contributes greatly to our success as an organisation and strengthens the FDM community.
