What to do before applying to FDM Academy

Youre onto a good start youve looked at the FDM web-site and we hope that by now youre thinking about applying for one of our programmes. We want to make it as easy as possible to ensure that you make it to the next stage the first interview. Are you confident you understand who we are, what we do, who we do it for and how you might fit in?
First of all, do as much research on FDM as you can. Use our web-site to find out who we are and what we do. This information will be helpful when you are invited for an interview. Understand the FDM business. What makes FDM different?
What type of individual is FDM looking for, what skills do you have? Are you a team-worker, are you flexible, can you work on your own initiative?
Make sure you fully proof read your CV use spell-checker and re-read it before you send it to us. Dont over-exaggerate your CV and your achievements.

You must have a basic understanding of technology. Do you have a degree in maths, computer sciences or a numerical subject? Have you read our FAQs did you know that you will be working for FDM (if youre successful) for a minimum of 2 years? You must be committed to the work for this time-scale, and you may work anywhere within the UK and the EU, so you should be prepared to travel.

We only accept online applications and recruit throughout the year. If you have applied on-line, you should hear from us within 5 days and if youre successful will be invited in for an interview.
