Many of our Mounties are working within the financial services sector, where our client’s investment in new technology means that they’re the largest spending sector in the UK. Compliance, innovation and customer management/relationship software has taken financial services to the forefront of IT and FDM Mounties are enjoying the benefits of this.
Our client relationships within the media industry are extensive working with the likes of the BBC, Channel 4, Channel 5, Warner Bros, Virgin Media and BSkyB. Recently a team of Mounties have worked on the implementation and testing of the I-Player and this has led onto more interesting work and development within the media industry.
We have 16 years experience in the IT telecoms market delivering solutions to clients such as Orange, Cable & Wireless, Carphone Warehouse and Colt Telecom. You may find yourself working within this sphere and joining Mounties in the UK or Germany.
Our work in the travel and logistics sector spans perhaps our most diverse range of clients. During a typical project, we may see our Mounties delivering a software solution, testing its delivery and participating in its rollout to the rest of the business. FDM has recently completed a major project with British Airways testing systems within Terminal 5.
Major systems integrators such as Accenture, Logica and IBM serve a major role in massive IT investments in Government and public bodies. FDM has worked closely with these businesses through the provision of teams of Mounties to provide a complete solution as and when required.
