IITT
The training services we provide through our award-winning FDM Academy are accredited by the Institute of IT Training (IITT).
FDM always operates to the highest standards. FDM was one of the first IT training companies to be awarded ISO 9001 certification, back in December 1995. ISO 9001 assures our clients that we have a quality framework in place and that we adhere to our quality processes and documentation throughout our offices. Our accreditation is re-assessed every six months to maintain our standards.
In May 2005, FDM Academy became an affiliate of the IITT, which is a prestigious award, recognising FDM’s excellence in training.
Benefits of IITT accreditation for Trainees
- Assurance that the Training Department conforms to a professional Code of Practice administered by the industry's professional body giving consumers confidence in the quality of service provision;
- Assurance that marketing collateral is honest and verifiable and accurately represents the training services being provided;
- Assurance that the Training Department delivers objectives-specific training which facilitates the measurement, analysis and external reporting of the success in meeting stated learning outcomes;
- Assurance that the Training Department provides support and back-up to the training to ensure that stated learning objectives are achieved;
- Assurance that instructional materials are well designed, up to date, fit for purpose and appropriate to the level of training and to the training situation;
- Assurance that trainers are technically competent with appropriate subject matter expertise;
- Assurance that trainers have recognised trainer delivery skills;
- Assurance that learning is business-focused;
- Assurance that equipment is reliable and appropriate to the subject and audience;
- Assurance that learning environments are conducive to effective learning including appropriate trainer-student ratios.
